Yrjö Kukkapuro
When Yrjö Kukkapuro designed his studio 1968, the architecture, material and details were all very experimental and modern.
The vaulted ceiling was in cast concrete and due to this, didn’t allow for any straight hanging ceiling fixtures.
Thus, the luminaire series 100 was born out of own needs.
YK100 E is the floor luminaire in the family allowing for different lightdistributions simultaneously, with the possibility of using the luminaire structures together with stands througout the rest of the series.
